Who we are

Santiago de Cali decade of the 90s. For the world it is no secret how difficult this time was in the recent history of Colombia, but despite that harsh reality in many corners of the country there was always hope, joy and a smile in our children who were oblivious to the situation that surrounded them.

Rembrandtplein Square-Amsterdam December 2015. On a cold, but cozy night I remembered past times when playing ball until sunset and riding a bicycle in the heavy rain were part of the great feats we lived in those unforgettable times. Many of those life-loving children are no longer with us for different reasons.
30 years later I reconnect with those times of childhood when I see our children enjoying every moment, but on the horizon, I glare at an unaware, blind and selfish society that erases the smiles of our children. At that precise moment Castaño mains amies foundation is born; A project with love, commitment and honesty that wants the smiles and lives of our children to endure over time, who if not they can change the future of our country.

In December 2016 we started our first integration activity with the help and collaboration of family, friends and co-workers who made different contributions to start this project.

We are aware that it is a process that involves perseverance, planning and continuous work. We have already taken our first step and we will continue with all our commitment to achieve our objectives.
